Recent studies reported that, 70% of employees believe that the social presence of their company’s CEO and executive team can strongly influence the company’s ability to attract talent and 76% of executives say they would rather work for a social CEO.

Create an effective executive profile

Having a complete and updated profile is important to show you’re a social savvy business leader. You can use your LinkedIn profile to demonstrate your expertise and vision for the business.

Connection strategy

By having a connection strategy you can keep your network relevant, strengthen your global connections and inviting people to connect is a great way to follow up on an in-person meeting.

Demonstrate your leadership

80% of employees say they would rather work for a social CEO and two out of three customers say that their perception of the CEO impacts their perception of the company.

By demonstrating your leadership through content you will show that your company is innovative by having a socially engaged C-suite, offering an authentic, human face to your company and being a voice of your industry and building thought leadership.

You can also use LinkedIn to check people’s profile prior to meeting. Knowing about their experience, background, connections and activity will allow you to save time and make the most of your meeting.
